Whole-body Plethysmograph (WBP) can be used to measure lung function and airway response in large full-conscious and free moving laboratory animals, smartly exempting the need of traumatic tracheotomy and anesthesia.

Whole-body Plethysmograph (WBP) can be used to measure lung function and airway response in large full-conscious and free moving laboratory animals, smartly exempting the need of traumatic tracheotomy and anesthesia, making the experimental process simple, quick, and suitable for long-term follow-up study.


Product Features

  1.  Suitable for rabbits and canines

  2. No surgery is required and the operation is simple

  3. It can be used in the study of animal respiration in full-conscious state and long-term follow-up experiments and is suitable for preliminary drug screening

  4. It has a drug aerosol nebulization module

  5.  It comes with automatic calibration function

  6. Feeding troughs can be provided for long-term continuous monitoring

  7. Optional functions are available, for example the measurements of ECG, blood pressure, body temperature, heart rate and other vital signs, which can be combined with implantable telemetry equipment

  8. Equipped with analysis software, data can be saved in Excel or TXT format (Customization is available catering to customers' specific requirements)
